Well life sucks when it all goes wrong.
But I'm mashing those damned lemons into lemonade
So I was at the last spot to prep on the engine bay for paint before the swap and went right thru the firewall with a wire wheel.
So in the included link shows how nice of a job we did on the cowl and well as pics of all the prior damage. I will keep updating the original thread as work progresses. Next time we can get together, it will be floor board time on the drivers side. I expect it to end up taking the same 2 day work period with 10-12 hour days with the three of us(fingers crossed).
Current status is firewall/cowl rebuilt and completed, engine bay prepped and primed for paint and awaiting driver floor pan repair.
U can comment here or on the original thread, since no one seems to care other than other folks in the same boat lol

Nice job on the repairs. I sure feel your pain.
Ya gonna fix it?

I plan to. Going to have to pay someone to do the work, though. I don't have the skill or equipment to do this on my own. I know the cost/benefit ratio is low, but I don't want to re-body the car.
Updated original with rebuilt cowl pics.
Next up is fixing the driver floor pan up.......
Working on engine stuff until the Three Amigos garage gets back together again
