Hey all, I have a thin dent with a 1" radius above my driver's side front fender and was wondering if paintless dent removing could take care of it. There's no telling how long it's been there. I understand that's when frozen nitrogen is used... I was curious if it gives quality results etc. THANKS!!

 

this process works VERY well from what i hear.
i am getting the Dent Wizard to give us a group discount for our car club about 7 or 8 cars in the club want theirs done as well.
it's very cheap too!

I'd go for it. as for the process there are two different processes from what i hear. i know nothing about it, lol.

ouch. that dent is a bit much. it's mainly for small - medium dents that aren't too deep. that one's pretty big i think you're going to need to get that work done at a bodyshop.

 

My uncle has done this dent removal for many years -- it requires a lot of practice and patience. There is a definite difference between somebody who knows what s/he's doing and somebody who will either not fix the dent or chip the paint/push the dent in the other direction.

They might try the fast heat/fast cool technique (with maybe an adjustable heat blower and liquid nitrogen), but I haven't had any success. My uncle said this is great if/when it works, but if the car has already been out in the sun in the summertime and it hasn't popped out on its own (e.g., when it cools at night), it probably ain't gonna work.

What they'll probably want do (depending upon where your dent is, exactly, is drill a small hole into the side of the fender and use a long, funny looking tool to slowly and carefully work the dent out, using an angled flouresent light to see the small contours well. Hope it goes well for you...
