spdo question

I have a cable driven 85mph spdo. I want a 120 or 140. I picked up a 120 cluster but it's electronic and will be a pain to rework. Can I get an after market cable driven spdo and install it in place of my 85mph? Has anyone done this? Is the cluster deep enough?

Thanks
David

Yes you can buy one and yes it will fit. Just search ebay or some of the product vendors listed above.

From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
It's not too difficult to swap the electronic unit in; check out this link for details http://www.hioutput.com/tech/speedo.html
Hope this helps...
