i have 1991 firebird planing to paint it torch red any one does that before ? am search if there is any but didn't find any 1991 trans am with torch red if you have one please post it here ...

Is Torch Red a GM color?

 

Torch Red is a mid 90's GM color. It was a bit red/orange in sunlight, used on a lot of Luminas and then later Monte Carlos, among other GM cars.

A buddy of mine painted his T/A Torch Red about 20 years ago, it was a very popular color where I'm from.

 

I had an 87GTA painted torch red and it was gorgeous. An almost orange look in full sunlight. I don't have any good pics but I can tell you it looks nice

 

am very excited to see it done ,,, also 2016 corvette came with torch red
