Just wondering if anyone has installed a duraflex ram air hood? I am in the process of installing one and just want to see what other people have done. After working out the bugs with alignment, the shape of the hood was flatter then stock so hood pins were an asset. I'll try to attach some pictures to show what I mean. I have cut out for the ram air filter box purchased from Hawks. But when it comes to the lift support shocks do you get lighter ones? And do you install the secondary latch release on the carbon fibre one?
If anyone has pictures of what they have done I would love to see

Wow! That is some poor fitment right there.

 

Sure is. Will be nice when you're done...and I know almost all fiberglass parts need some work to fit properly, but that's crazy.

 

Looks like maybe it came out of the mold too early, while it was still "hot". Then it pulled in towards the center.

 

There's your issue right there. Good luck.... you're going to need it.

 

yes I bought one and had the same problem took me forever to get a return order and never got my money back they are the biggest sh it company I have ever seen
