I purchased a front and rear for my car and the service and product are excellent. I'd recommend them.

They helped me out. I posted a couple of pics in another thread and my inbox went crazy with interest. They really are essential for anyone restoring one of these cars. My car now has a lovely finish with the tops out and a tight, leak free roof when they're in.

Re: T-Top Replacement Channels for Camaros and Firebirds
Has anyone else emailed them?
I've sent an email for them asking about pricing and availability.
Maybe we can set up a group buy and get a better price.

Is that bond sealing them to the body?

Stupid auto correct I ment Bondo. In the last picture you posted where the channel meets the car. It looks like Bondo that's why I was asking.

Update: Pricing is $115.63. *note* this is being shipped from the UK. So, shipping to the US via UPS, is $47.00. The picture they show has the spot weld holes already drilled. The kit is called MAGNUM CK110957. If anyone is interested, PM me your e-mail address and I can forward the e-mail to you.

Re: T-Top Replacement Channels for Camaros and Firebirds
Hate to bump an old thread, but has anyone purchased these recently? Just tore into my roof and my channels are totally rotted out (along with some other parts of the roof). Really would like to get my hands on these rather than fabricate them myself.
UPDATE: Got in contact with Chris, the guy who makes these. He's super timely and responded within a few hours to my email, even on a weekend. With the current exchange rate, they came in at $137.99 + $54.10 shipping, just under $200 to my door. He can get them to you about 7 days after he starts them (with whatever additional time in between depending on his workload, my case 5 days). Probably looking at about 3 weeks door to door. Well worth it IMO to have a quality piece that's ready to weld right in.
I'll be sure to post up some photos and progress pics of the job. I have quite the horror scene in my roof right now, I'll start a thread later tonight.

Re: T-Top Replacement Channels for Camaros and Firebirds
-Grind away surface rust, coat with weld-thru primer (along with a full weld-thru primer coat on the channels themselves)
-After welding everything in, prime and paint overtop the channels
-Run a bead of seam sealer along the edges (against the channel/roof) to prevent water from seeping in there
Also check out this thread for more info on channel prep/replacement: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...air-guide.html
This guy had his own channels fabricated from someone else, but the process is more or less the same.

Re: T-Top Replacement Channels for Camaros and Firebirds
I went down the T top rabbit hole and ended using the tracks from UK which was excellent fit and function.
You start out thinking that just the rubber seals need to be replaced, remove them and find the rust and holes in/around the tracks on these 30+ year cars.
It took me 3 months to eradicate all the rust from the T tops and wind shield pillars.
If you get into it as far as I did, one recommendation is not to use RTV to seal between the tracks and body. RTV will not last the heat expansion/contraction from summer/winter months.
Go old school as I did and fill that area with lead based solder melted into the joint, far superior to RTV.
