Well this is inspiring.... Your paint booth looks VERY similar to what I was planning on doing haha.
Did you run into any issues keeping the nose and rear bumper cover on? Any paint bridging or anything weird?
One of my biggest hang ups, is the amount of parts that has to come off of these cars to paint them. The firebird front end gives me anxiety thinking about getting all those parts off and then back on even remotely lined up haha.
Looks great!

If you sprayed more than one coat of clear, did you run into any problems with bugs or dirt becoming embedded into the clear. Color coat usually will dry fast enough where bugs don't matter. Even with building a painting booth in my garage I had some dust lay down.

That paint scheme has really caught on for thirdgens. 10+ years ago I painted mine white/black in that scheme and at the time I had only seen 2 others.

Re: Painted car on Sunday
Finish looks very nice, man. I'm working towards this direction myself, looking into the feasibility of shooting my car myself when the time comes, but my concern is that I'd be doing it outside, much like this, and I don't want to spend six months sanding dust, pollen, bugs and whatnot out of the finish. Did you find this to be a big issue with shooting it outside, or did it go down fairly smooth? What brand of paint did you use?
