87 camaro front ground effect question

I need some ideas on whether or not I need to replace the front end on my car in order to have front ground effects. When I get ready to paint the car I'm putting a z28 front end on it.

Reason I ask is I seen someone say that it would need done but it was on someone else's post and I didn't see the car.

Re: 87 camaro front ground effect question

Yes, your front fenders could work but it's a lot of work to drill all those holes and fenders are cheap.
Your front bumper will not work at all
Drilling the doors, rocker panels and rear is not fun and the results often come out a little wonky.
There are thin long metal plates welded to the rockers for ground effects that you should add.
Just in case you don't know the rear bumper is different for non ground FX cars too

If you are only changing the front bumper to the Z style, your front fenders are fine, you will only have to drill three holes in each to attach the side lower spoiler
