sun visors from other cars

Will sunvisors from other GM cars fit 3rdgen's? I need a set and I figure why not get some used ones out of a late model car. I wonder if there are any that fit our 3 screw hole pattern.

im pretty sure with some mod they would work. if u do it, post ur results of what happens.. ill be replacing the sun visors in my car when i get the chance to. since i usually dont use them cuz the block too much with me being 6'2" its not a big priopety. after the engine swap (2.8-3.4 ) im goin to start on the interior. fun.

If you have t-tops, you need the F-body ones, they are curved to fit the roof. Hardtop ones seem to be pretty generic, and while there might be differences, I would think most would be interchangeable.

If you don't care about originality, you might look at some of the newer cars. My '98 Olds LSS has dual visors on each side (smaller one underneath the main one with the mirror), and the main visor has a slide out section that makes it even longer if you need extra blockage.

On this car I care zero about it being original. I want a set of those like you're talking about. I saw some in a blazer.

I'm 6'2" too and I can't see when I drive to work. The sun is right in my eyes. Right now I don't have any sun visors on there, the old ones stunk and were rotten.
