new camaro.. needs some fixing

hey all, finally finalized the purchase of my camaro.. got to drive it home today, yay :-D i love this car.. ahhhhhh.. anyway.. couple things need to be fixed that im aware of right now.. first of all, the (exterior) locks on both driver and passenger side dont work.. the key fits in the passenger side, but wont turn.. what can i do to replace these? also, on the inside, when i hit the unlock door button, the passenger one unlocks fine, but the drivers one only moved a couple centimeters and doesnt acutally unlock (or lock, if thats what im trying to do)... second, the drivers door seems to stick out a little from the rest of the car, leaving about a half an inch between the window and the car.. and im getting water coming in htere, how do i go about realigning that door? its not sagging, just not flush with the side.. thirdly,umm.. i thought i had a third.. hmm.. oh yea, the car sort of creaks when im turning, the previous owner said he thought it was the sway bar that needed tightening.. any ideas? and also, stupid questions probably.. wheres the rear wiper button/switch thing? hehe.. sorry abou tthe length, just got the car and im pretty excited about it.. appreciate it guys!!

ahh yes, one more thing.. the passenger window goes pretty slow (its powered, i mean)... do i need to replace the motor or is there any other tricks i could try? thanks again!

You can't fix the hood and hatch struts, you need to replace them. The hood ones aren't too expensive but the hatch ones are fairly expensive. You could get them at local automotive stores.

As for the other questions... Make sure the door is closing and is latching completely. And i think you'll have to replace the power window motor.

Congradulations on the purchase and good luck

They're multi-vehicle, so should be in stock. Remember to replace both sides, not just one.

Hey, congrats man. You should probably replace both the window motors and the power locking mechanisms. My windows are slow and my locks do the same thing (somethimes they lock fine, sometimes they don't) so I'm gonna replace them in the spring hopefully. And my door also does that, I just have to slam it harder and its fine. It doesn't sag at all either. As for the wipers, theres a little thing you turn on the top of the turn signal lever. You should be able to find it.
