Acrylic t top to glass.
92 Z28 l found a set of glass tops with large pins finally. Installed new seals & strips. Seals are about 3/8 " short on both ends. Checked body seals on another car &they seem to be the same. Anyone know if acrylic top seals are longer?

Glad to know I'm not the only one who noticed this! https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...e-91-92-a.html
I initially put my new seals in upside down as they came with no instructions, and actually fit in the channel upside down with no problems. The gaps were much worse then. I have them in correctly now, but still have half inch gaps at both the front and rear of both sides, which allows water to pour in from all 4 corners every time it rains hard here (which has been everyday for the last month now).
Only solution I can come up with is to add some black silicone to each corner of the seals that are on the body to try and bridge the gap, but haven't been able to try it yet.

Re: Acrylic t top to glass.
did you replace just the seals on the tops? I replaced mine to glass years ago and there were no issues.
if you haven't replaced the seals on the body that is why they are too short, the old seals have been compressed and have shrunk a bit.
I did a full seals replacement before I found the glass tops.
