Turn signal mod question

So I am replacing my running light in front with LED strips and the turn signal as well. So wired them up. Two strips to the red wire on the turn signal lead, and to the black. Wired two more to yellow lead and black. The two strips wired to red and black come on when headlights or running lights are on as intended. The other two strips wired to yellow and black which are supposed to be turn signals come on when the turn signal is switched on but DO NOT BLINK!

So what do yall think? Do I have my wiring wrong? Or do need to add a resistor to the blink circuit? Or is my resistance too high? Ideas anybody?

LEDs are 12 volt auto motive use BTW
