Got a '92 Trans Am GTA that I'm looking to restore/get back on the road. For the most part, everything on the body is intact with the notable exception of the plastic bits that attach to the bottom of the fenders and the nose. They're flat out missing. See, here's a side view of a complete '92 'Bird...
Now here's a Firebird that's missing the bits that attach to the bottom of the fenders and the nose...
I'm under the impression that these are the bits that I need...
Are those the correct parts to buy to replace what I'm missing? Pretty far down the line at the moment since the car has engine problems but I just want to know what to nab when the time comes.
antares57: Thanks! Now I'll just have to decide when to bite the bullet and shell out the $350 for those, LOL. Maybe I can find some used ones somewhere.
dagwood: I originally bought this car with intent to flip but I just like it too much, especially since I got it for pretty much nothing and do have a bit of cash to dump into it. Original 305's screwed and I'm probably gonna swap a 350 into it instead. Might not happen any more this year depending on how deep I go into things but I'm definitely looking forward to scorching some tarmac while jamming Judas Priest in the fairly near future.
