body nuts and bolts/ hardware/ fixings
whatever the correct/ colloquial term is, I'm in process of removing the front bumper/ fenders from my 91 trans am and well, lets say its original! Have broking a few rusty bolts and all generally looks pretty crusty.
Is there a source of new (ideally zinc replacements) that doesn't have the hawks tax? Guessing the hardware was used across GM cars so hoping there's a kit or two out there. i'll continue searching ebay but grateful if anyone knows a source

Try Hawks Third Gen. 82-92 Camaro site. Just Google "Hawks Third Gen" the site will show up...Or try jegs.com

Do a Google search for Auveco. Download their catalog and go through it a few times. Usually you can find the correct spec fasteners and whatnot. Then it's just a matter of finding a vendor that sells Auveco products. If you google the part number you need, or search ebay, you can usually find what you're after. You might have to buy a box of 50 or 100, but they're cheap. Nearly all of the original hardware is black phosphate or oxide treated. It holds up fairly well if it isn't exposed to salt water spray....

Re: body nuts and bolts/ hardware/ fixings
I recently painted the car and had everything off. Replaced "most" of the hardware in the process. I used Hawk's for a few of the plastic push tabs that were visible, because I wanted to be sure they were visibly correct, and didn't have poor/loose fitment. For the hardware though, I just picked up a bunch of random assortments from ebay. I have several extras, but the price was WAY cheaper than a proper "kit" so to speak. Sooooooo many GM cars use the same fasteners obviously.
