Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
is my 1991 camaro convertible worth saving?? NEED ADVICE

is my 1991 camaro convertible rs worth saving, blown engine at 79k, good 700r4 with 79k, looking to go t5 swap as the car is a rolling shell is it worth it to repair only thing going for it is its a complete convertible

How's the rest of the car? Are you planning on making a show car? How's the suspension? Rust/damage/paint condition? If it's a rotten basket case RS with a blown motor and tired everything else then take 10k out of your bank and expect to only have a decent driver by the time you blow through that money. If the car is clean and shows as a 79k car but needs a motor, it more comes down to how much you care about the car and how much you're willing to invest in making it drive again. Clean RS vert's can be had for around 6500CAD, and I'd imagine they aren't tough to come by in New York either. Any pics?
