I can find the white decals that match the vin # on the hood, doors, rear bumper, and hatch. Not the fenders or nose. there are stamps on the inside lip of the fenders near the bolts, but they are different on each fender. I think the passenger fender on my car is after market. I am trying to find out. What does the factory metal stamp on the fenders look like?? Thanks!

from what ive seen a lot of after market sheet metal tends to rust like crazy and not line up like its suppose too... has your whole car been repainted? if not and your fender is aftermarket, then it has had to be painted. look closely and you might be able to see a little differance in color.... just my 2 cents

The fender on the driverside was hit minor, I think it was replaced with an after market, but when I look at it closely, it looks like it is painted original color even in the hard to see areas (red). The passenger fender fits great, but does not look red or anything underneath the inside lip. So I am not sure. There is a stamp in the top of the inside lip of each fender, but they are different on each fender. So I am wondering what the stamp looks like on an original GM fender. Like I said I can't find the white decal with the vin# on either fender or the front nose.

If it was wrecked the owner could've pulled another red fender off of another year camaro.....they would match....but it could look a little different......just a suggestion
LOL Thanks Guys. The passenger fender on the car is aftermarket. I am going to change it with an original I picked up at the bone yard. The original has a sticker on the inside of the fender, and a different stamping on it.
