Aiming headlights?

Anybody know how? I have an 82 Camaro and mine are pointing up and to the right. I just want to make them point the way they are supposed to. I think I read somewhere that you park about 6 feet from a wall and make a mark in line with the center of the nose, at the same height as the headlights. Supposedly you adjust them so they both hit that spot and they should be pretty close to correct. Does this sound right?
