Dim dashlights, any fixes?

Nothing is wrong with my dashlights, I just wish that they were brighter. They only shine around the edges of the gauges. Can anyone help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I would suspect that there are bulbs that are not working.

I couldn't agree more that the stock lights are too dim. I swapped mine out for the higher intensity bulbs from MacEwen--night and day difference. I swapped not only the gauge lights but also the AC Control light and console clock light. See the web site: http://members.aol.com/rmacewen1/

I'm sorry I didnt make myself clear enough. I have no problem with the bulbs and I have the Macewen white guages and xenon blue bulbs...it just seems that they arent all that bright. i know they are getting enough power, cause i had just changed the altenator(sp). Maybe could i make the metal piece that reflects them is not shiny enough, could i make it more shiny somehow?
Thanks

Changine the alternator doesn't mean they're getting enough power. Check the voltage at the bulb to determine that. You might have a bad wire or trace somewhere, or the rheostat in the dimmer is going bad.
