How much do 91-92 Z28 spoilers go for?
How much do 91-92 Z28 spoilers go for?
I am about to pick up this really nice car on Monday. It's looks like an 89 TA (84 Firebird with a V-8, 89 Body and bunch of appearance mods) but it has the base Firebird spoiler. I want to take it off and put on the 91-92 Z Hi-Rise spoiler.
Now my first question is will the bolt holes from the two spoilers line up and about how much is it for one in good used condition?
Thanks for the help,
-Max

I have a 87 trans am with the rubber wraparound spioler on it, its all cracked so I'm replacing it with a standard straight firebird one, the holes on these two are way off, and I was looking for a 91-92 spoiler when I found it it was $120 local, I got my standard one for $11 at a junk yard. if you want go for it, but for me it was just to much trouble.
I'm not looking for the 91-92 GTA spolier. I'm looking for the one off of the 91-92 Z-28's. I realize the holes for the wrap around and the Z28 spoiler don't match. But I think the standard Firebird one and the Z one should be close.
Anybody else?
Anybody else?
I was talking about the high rise z spioler. it did not line up with my old wraparound, it may with the normal firebird. also when I put it on my car I thought it looked really out of place. I'm working on a custom piece now.

just curious, but has anyone ever trimmed their high rise spoiler down? i like the look of the spoiler overall, but i think its just a bit too high for me. any done this before? think it could look really slick if done cleanly.....
no, i would not do it........the highrise spoiler is beautiful just the way it is.
but, for those who do want a lower profile with the same design, their is an aftermarket company that makes one that's about 1/3 in height.

anyone know what companies make the "mini" hi-rise spoiler. i'd love to get one. kinda evil to chop one up, i agree. maybe making a mold of one would help me make one........
i've got an 88 SC and its got a similar version of the high rise one although its really quite low
as far as i know they were only available on the 88's
The look great and you dont see that many around
