Dzus fasteners instead of hood pins

Has anyone ever used Dzus or similar fasteners to keep their hood on? How did you mount them?

Ask on the organized racing board. Someone there probably knows. I think it takes a special tool to install them, and if you use the inset type (can't see why you'd use the wing type like on tpi air cleaners) you need a special tool to turn them.
