I don't know where to go with this or what I'm doing in the real car world, I am an artist and just got into car designing a little while ago. I just learned that one of my favorite mods to do to is what's called a splitter. Or something like that. I like messing with hoods and bumpers. Maybe, if I have the right part, a front clip? That's the body part of the front of the car, right? Maybe I'll look that up a little later. Here's what I've been doing. The picture is of a yellow Camaro that I downloaded and modified. Would this modification be easy enough to make, or is this too complex for someone to put on a real car?

adding pictures so you can see if it would be too difficult.

My suggestion coming from the automotive design world youre design has a complication or two. There is an avenue to do this as a career however you'll need a lot of art and surfacing classes to be whats considered a class A designer/surface modeler, Id also recommend some exploration into the world of physics, materials, manufacturing and marketing. All these things and more rely on if a part is capable of being not only mass produced efficiently and effectively but doesnt hinder quality and function and leave you with unpurchased parts, its not just drawing pretty pictures or doing renders in some sort of software.

Sorry if that is not what you're looking for, you're question doesn't seem very direct and is open ended so there is my $.02 take it or leave it.

the reason I recommend classes is you will need a degree to get anywhere near most of those careers in the automotive industry.

Edit: If this missed the whole purpose of your thread i really dont know what a 5th gen has to do with third gens. can it be made? yea probably, is their a market for it? i dont particularly like it at all but maybe but dont let that kill your passion. Get a job in the world of what you want to do, stay a decade, learn the business, then go off on your own once you have a firm grasp of it. Not everyone is all knowing right off the bat.
