What is this called?

Dont have a pic at the moment, but it's the plastic piece that bridges the bottom of the chin spoiler to the lower rad mount. Is this supposed to be straight? I know these cars have almost 50 years of the chin spoilers running into/dragging over curbs lol...Was thinking of reinforcing it to push the chin spoiler back out. Also, does anyone have any experience with the insert that goes into the chin spoiler that hawks sells? Thought it would help maintain the shape. Thanks.

It seems to be called "the plastic piece that bridges the bottom of the chin spoiler to the lower rad mount."

Diagrams for the Camaro are available here - http://www.austinthirdgen.org/parts/html/main1.htm

Look it up.
