Recommendations on replacement fog and driving lights?

Looking for the best value for stock replacements. I'm OK with spending for quality. Just not overspending. Hawks has GM originals for $200 each. Also sells a well-rated pair of new replicas for $180. Just sayin.

If you’re not afraid of a little fabrication, these are 4th gen fog lights with an LED amber light strip wired as running lights/blinkers.

I picked up the repros from Hawks for about $200 and have been happy with them.

Re: Recommendations on replacement fog and driving lights?

I purchased a set of reproductions from Hawks in January of 2019 and both bezels developed rust within 10 months. Hawks sent me out a new set of bezels free of charge but one year later I’m noticing some bubbling appearing on the new bezels. I live in the south so no salt issues and I only Sunday drive the garage kept car less than 3,000 miles per year.

Thanks. Hawks is the only game in town. They look good. We will see if they hold up!

They look just like my 31 year old originals.

Id probably bead blast them and repaint w/ self etching primer then black epoxy paint.

Mine, too. But after 25 years as a daily driver, I shouldn't be surprised. Just blasted mine and repainted them. The next 31 years will probably be easier on them..

You can reach in there and unscrew them from the bracket, but not sure about installing the bracket. As I recall they are each held onto the bracket by a single long threaded machine screw. If that's not right, someone correct me.

Re: Recommendations on replacement fog and driving lights?

I don't have one but would very much like one. No, I've had these for years and they may have come from a thread here on TGO. I know it shows me as a Jr. Member but, I've been lurking around since '01 under various names, so it could be a very old thread.

DAMN !!! For being installed for only 10 months - in a non-salt environment - that's just awful !
