Electric Hood Release
Ok maybe this is a question for the elecronics board but...
I saw a TV program (i think it was My Classic Car) a couple years ago where a guy used 2 motorized camaro hatch releases to pop the hood on his 'vette, looked cool.
I have an extra non motorized solinoid/hatch release that I was considering adapting for a hood release, has anyone done this or have any suggestions?

Sounds like a neat idea, my only thought on that is.. What if the battery goes dead on ya.. do you plan on havin a manual release still?
ya, hatch release is perfect, reason why because door locks move onec and lock.
hatch just pulls once and releases, but good luck trying to find one strong enough to pull our hoods unlocked, im already on this plan, you just have place on the line so if you do it manualy it will still work.....
