GFX broken tab repair

I have one completely broken tab and a couple more that are close. I'm thinking of using some fiberglass mat but putting something like RTV on it so it's somewhat flexible like the original plastic the gfx panel is made from. Think it will work OK?
Thx for any ideas.

My plan was to use some thin gauge aluminum and scuff everything, then use some panel bond and put the aluminum on the joint like a backer. I was also thinking about rivets through the tab into the aluminum so they could never fall off the tab. I never got that far though

fiberglass won’t bond to plastic without some mechanical bond.

I just fixed a rocker panel for a Avion trailer and I used epoxy as a bonding/filler/shape agent. I’ll take a pic of the stuff I used. Worked great.
