I am having a hard time finding the correct Door Latch assemblies for the Drivers LH side for my 89 Iroc. I have read a few threads about how they are different from 82-88 then 89-92. Can anyone explain how different they are and whether or not I could use 82-88 because those seem to be more readily available. I cannot find 89-92 anywhere anyone else run into this problem?

 

I read a few threads saying they are al lslightly diffferent but should more less work...

I did a full restoration on my dads car that sat for over 20 years. I removed the outside handle and the door panels for paint. The car is painted we are reassembling it the door will not open from the outside I am thinking it is the latch from sitting for so long.

 

What is the part #?
