Removing Trunk Center Piece

I need help removing the taillight center piece on my car. The part I’m referring to is where the key hole is for the trunk, and it says Pontiac on it with a Firebird. I bought a new center piece, and don’t want to break anything removing the old one. Thank you.

Re: Removing Trunk Center Piece

You need to remove both tail lights first as they hold that piece in

they just press agasinst it to hold it in....you might need to wiggle a little as the seal sometimes can get stuck on it on the body.
