I read on this site in the tech articles all 86 camaros have black mirrors and black head lamp pockets but mine does not the mirrors are the same color as the body and the head lamp pocket is silver. I know that it has not been repainted because it is peeling. The color of the body is dark blueish. I am wondering if this is a rare car.

 

All 86 sport coupes had gloss black mirrors and gloss black headlight pockets. '87 sport coupes had the silver headlamp pockets. Either yours has been repainted, or else someone installed an 87 nose and Z28/IROC/RS mirrors
