Anyone have these instructions or access to a website or youtube flick to perform this task? I have a new R.E.M. pad to replace the original.

Don't you just pull the plugs out?

yes, u pull out the plugs, but u still have to remove the hardware attached to the underside of the hood that works with the cowl iinduction as the pad is also underneath that. I I will figure it out. Been at this car thing so many years.

After I removed the old insulation and garbaged it, I opened the box that contained the under hood insulation manufactured by R.E.M. that I purchased from firebird central. Well. Well, we have a problem The only way the pad would install is as u see in the picture. R.E.M. glued the padding on the wrong side of the skin. I have to leave it as there seems to be no good source that I can find for correct insulation. Have a look.

It's frustrating that so many reproduction auto parts are made incorrectly or of poor quality...

It looks better than nothing, and if a person doesn't know what the real thing looks like, it's passable. But next to a good original, there's no comparison.
