Its been done but its not recommended. There is very little room in the engine bay to do such a thing. Take the hood off, at least.

Re: pull LB9 and T-10 at the same time?
has it been done? thats how it usually happens.. if you take the trans AND bellhousing off, while supporting the engine with a hoist, it will be easier.. since it will just be up and out.. with the trans on, its tilt, up, forward, tilt, up forward, reverse tilt, up forward, etc.. then you worry about hitting things with the transmission..
its entirely up to you.. having a helper is good.. i pull my motor by myself so i pull her with the trans off and usually install with the trans on.. its easier to put the trans on in the garage than under the car..
good luck

i installed my 408 with the tko600 attached using a hoist. It just made it, but it worked.
remember to remove the dizzy, or at least the cap. It will give you a little more room and you wont have to worry about breaking it.

Re: pull LB9 and T-10 at the same time?
Did it, with a T10, just 2 weeks ago. I just unbolted the trans crossmember from the body and left it on the trans, made it 10x easier! That way, its just up off the motor mounts, and out - no going forward necessary to drop the trans off the crossmember that way - just go up.

Re: pull LB9 and T-10 at the same time?
I love the fact that the T10 is just tiny compared to the T5 and T56... makes it SOOOO much easier to pull out the motor/trans together compared to the T5/T56.
