Testing a 92 Hatch Pull Down Motor

I have a 92 Z with 30K miles. The hatch pull down motor is not working in any direction. I went through the trouble shooting steps from the service manual and from what I can tell everything checks out in the electrical circuit. Is there a way to jump the motor to see whether its bad? I have the new style unit that is fiberglass or composite material. Thanks for any help.

Someone here was selling a few of them and he had videos testing them in his workshop.
