Looking to buy new side mirror glass for my '84 TA. Rockauto shows a few different sizes. Were these different based on the model year? My painter removed the glass from my mirrors and threw them away since they were foggy and scratched so can't measure one to see what I should get.
Except for those flat paddle style mirrors. Which i think were canadian and euro. They should all be the same type, even when used on vettes, fieros and some g-bodies. At least when it comes to the mirror glass itself. Don't know the dimensions though
I just ordered Burco mirror glass for my 1983 Z28.
I went to their website and looked up the options and then started measuring. (Many trips back and forth to the garage from the home office.) I still had the mirror glass installed, so it made it a little easier.
This is what I got, and they do fit in the plastic frames (no power mirror option).

Since you mentioned yours is an 84' these will probably be the ones you need.
