removing ground effects on 92 Firebird
removing ground effects on 92 Firebird
Hello there, im new to the 3rd gen community. Just bought a 92 firebird last month and I've been loving every second of it. However the passenger side door gfx and both the fenders gfx and shattered from the previous owner. The door one I can probably fix with some foam and bondo or smthn it's not that bad but the fender ones are beyond repair. I was wondering if I could just take them off to get it to look lIke the formula model? I know that I would have to buy new bumpers already but I just wanted to know if the formula had its own set of gfx or no gfx at all. Thank you in advance

The Formula doesn't have GFX, but you'd have to replace your bumpers to make it look that way. Replacing the GFX on the door is actually pretty easy. There are three or four bolts inside the door that hold them on. The other fender GFX aren't too hard to replace as well.

It's a lot if work to remove and fill all those ground fx holes the right way.
easier to replace the door and fender parts. The reproduction fender parts are expensive and the door parts you'll have to find used.
