Color code for ground effects

Does anyone know the color code for lower molding on a 1987 Z28. I don't have the RPO.

Re: Color code for ground effects

I was looking through the "body" forum and I happened to see this thread:

Why it so hard to find The Paint Code Bottom aero dams silver

They're talking about Firebirds but the color may be the same that you're looking for.

Re: Color code for ground effects

I have a 1984 Trans AM with ground effects. My car was hit on the driver's side rear corner, while stopped for a red light, by a truck that idled into it. No serious visible damage. All the rear fascia & ground effects on the fender fad to be removed & repainted due to spider webbing. The bodyshop owner had to search thru old paint books that he had to find a matching colour.
He found "cladding solver lower 2 tone.I have the mix. There is no indicator with the car as to the orig code for the ground effects. Apparently there were 4 different paint mixes back in that year.
The estimate was $529 but the painting will probably be $200-300 more. No costs to me.
