I have repaired the deteriorated areas on the bumper covers using a flex-fill epoxy filler. After feathering out the areas, I am not too sure how well they will look once paint is applied.
On steel panels I always go over my repairs with epoxy primer, then Featherfill and/or a urethane primer-surfacer to get it flat.
I plan to use epoxy primer first as I understand it will adhere very well to a urethane bumper. Is there an equivalent high-build sprayable product that can be used here? I have heard of high build epoxy primers.
My reasoning is I would just like to be able to block the entire surface to ensure it's flat.
