Repairing spiderweb cracks on bumper

I am in the process of painting my car. The front bumper has these spider web cracks all the way into the bumper. I have stripped all the paint off and the cracks are still there. Is there some type of epoxy the will fill these? I tried the primer over them and the came back thru the primer.

Bondo = bad idea. Too stiff & WILL crack in the future when the urethane bumper covers flexes.

Re: Repairing spiderweb cracks on bumper

I sanded the cracks as much as possible, I just dont want them to show thru the new paint or reappear. I have some polyester putty is this the same as poly flex?

To my understanding, once you have spidercracks in the bumper, they WILL reappear no matter what.

Re: Repairing spiderweb cracks on bumper

If it's got spider cracks in the bumper it's probably getting ready to disintegrate. Remember some of the Vette bumpers that fell apart? JMO

Do not add any filler! Terrible idea.sand all the way to bare plastic put.quality primer on them and try not to bump anything.I just did my bumpers and used all Sherwin Williams products on my car.if you put filler over them they will just come through.
