Need a measurement, firebird fender to body.

Im working on aligning a fender and im having some difficulties. This is the passengerside fender and im looking for a measurement from the top of the mounting flange behind the hood hinge to the top of the fender, right at the last bolt. I have 2 fenders for the passengerside but they are both aftermarket ones. They both measure the same but they are almost 3/8" different from the driverside which is a factory fender.

Thanks

I took a measurement on my 1984 TA where you asked. Looks to be 2-3/8”. My fenders are factory.

Thank you kind sir!

Thats confirms what I was suspecting. My factory and aftermarket driverside fenders are 2-3/8 but the passengerside ones are just under 2-3/4. They dont line up with the door the same way either. Guess im drilling spot welds and adjusting.

So I drilled out the spot welds to about halfway down the fender and it dropped almost perfectly into place at 2-3/8". Alignment is much better however now the bracket on tye bottom where it bolts to the pinch rail needs to be reworked.
