Wasted dash space

I searched through old posts here and couldn't find anyone who mounted gauges above the climate controls in the dash. Is there enough room there in the dash for anything, or is it impossible. I thought I'd ask here before pulling the dash apart if someone already tried. I have 3 autometer 2-1/16 gauges to mount and want to keep them out of sight. Thanks in advance.

there is a/c ducts behind the dash there. if u want to take ut a/c or cut into the duct, there would be enough room then.

Actually, right above the HVAC controls before the dash slopes forward, there's enough room for 2 1/16th" gauges and their wiring. Personally, I wouldn't want to cut into the dash anyway.
