:hail: Whew! Is that going to fit under the hood or are you going to let it stick out?
I use Engine Brite Engine Degreaser come in an orange and white bottle. It works really good and brightens things up as well. I'd paint it with POR15 engine enamale that will also prevent rusting (great to use under master cylender too). But you can use any paint. Belive it or not I use model paint to do my intake and water pump aluminum. I did it becouse it looked like crap and diden't expect it to last. It's been three months and still looks great. I think this is mostly becouse of the high temerature of those two parts that melted the paint to it. When I get my Hedmans I'm going over it with the POR15 hi-temp paint so the headers, pump, and intake look the same.

I just ordered the POR15 engine kit with cadillac dark blue as my color choice. When I get my engine, I'll see how it goes. I picked it based on reccomendations from people on this board, magazines, and few other people I talked to. The kit is $40, but I think it will be worth it since por15 dries to a super tough finish.

Man, can I have everything from the intake up?? But yeah, I used this stuff called foam off from work to clean my engine bay. Took literly an inch of grease, dirt, oil right off.
