Sorry -- alto of questions here. I tried to take my old setas off today but found they are bolted head down -- and i can't loosen the nut up top -- do i have to jack up the car and remove anything from underneath to get access to the seats? Hayne's doesn't say anything about the interior.

 

Nope, nothing underneath, just the nut on top. It is torqued down pretty tight. If there is any rust on it, use some penetrating oil on it first. I highly recommend using a socket, and not an open ended wrench.
