ok guys,
my sppedometer is way off like 9mph, someone said it was because some magnets in my speedo went out. I have an 87 trans am, is my 85mph speedo electric or cable (I'd guess cable), and how hard would it be to swap just the speedo out for a 120mph one. and would it be accurate. could I use one from a v6 car. I have an 87 trans am with a lg4/auto and I believe 2.73 gears

 

the 120 mph speedo will work just fine, no pob, just sticks right in the place where your old one was.just make sure you swap a cable for a cable or an alectric for an electric

thanks guys, but I just need the speedo and my junk yard already has one for me. plus I want it to show actual miles.
