t-top weatherstrip question

i just installed the t-top weatherstrip in my camaro today. i used gm weatherstrip and i have a small leak. when standing outside the car looking in, where the weatherstrip on the t-top itself meets the weatherstrip on the car on the right side leaks when i spray water on it. i have everything lined up. used directions from this board and also the directions that came with the weatherstrip. according to the directions with the weather strip, i may need to adjust the window. anybody else had this problem or can give me any suggestions on adjusting the window. thanks, tom

I guess I should ask, How does it leak, or better yet, where does it leak.

If it leaks and drips on the passenders leg, then that might be an adjustment issue. If it drips on the back seat then that would mean there is a seal issue, and you should seal up the gap between the body panels and the seal itself..

hope that helps...

on mine, if you look at the drivers window from outside the car, its in the upper right hand corner where the t-top seal (the seal that is attached to the t-top) connects to the seal on the body. thanks, tom

If it sounds like its an adjustment issue.

to do it you take out the screw for the interior trim and use a 7mm nutdriver to adjust the cams.

thats best I can do without looking at it...
