painting air cleaner
hey guys,
I was thinking of painting just my air cleaner lid red, its all rusted right now and looks crappy, plus I think it will give it a nice accent. what do you think?

had a buddy paint his aircleaner red, it turned brown after it got hot a few times. I would recommend getting a high temp engine paint, whatever color you paint it...

technically speaking the aircleaner was originally semi-gloss black...
I agree though, crinkle paint might look strange if you used it ONLY on the airlceaner...

I painted mine red with normal bodypaint about 7 months ago and it still looks nice. Better than my old crappy exterior paint, lol. The wingnut cuts the paint a little tho, but you can't see it with the nut on.
