Hello my car doesnt have a spoiler. I was wondering how you take the side parts(conected to the quarter panels) off of the donor car(at the junkyard) are they bolted in???? sorry if its a stupid question. I just want to know what i'm in for...it's a nascar looking spoiler..i think its off of an 83...

Yes, each side should each have 2 bolts going through the body holding them on. Might have to pry a bit to get them off since they've been there a while.

 

ok thanks...........any ideas on how i could get the bolt pattern on my car...i dont want to make swiss cheese out of my car i'm talking about the side mounts

Hmm.. I'm a total chicken when it comes to attempting body work, I'm gonna have it professionally done someday (go figure, the only spoiler put on our cars that i really don't like is the one that I have. )

 

Actually there are 3 bolts holding the side spoilers on the are 2 on the side and 1 on the top. The top one is a bitch to get off so use some kind of long wrench.

 

HEY 85S my car looks EXACTLY LIKE YOURS.. you could not tell the difference......................well..i need 2 new doors that are rusty ....dont know where to get them but......................thanks for your help.......................................i'm going to buy the spoiler now
