As u can see its been torn up from daily usage. I was gonna get a set of 98' SS seats but i like my 92' camaro seats, Can a Interior shop repair it like new? i know i should go ask but the car is in the auto shop and i cant ask for the mean time, but did any of u's had yours repaired? How much did it cost u, Id prefer not to get a seat cover, they all look nasty. Thanx for any info.

Anything can be repaired if you want to spend the money. From the picture, it looks like they are pretty ratty to begin with. Not sure why you would want to repair the tear without having the whole seat recovered. If it costs anymore than 3 or 4 hundred $$$ I would go with the SS seats you originally contemplated.

That is where most 3rd gen driver's seats tear. I had mine fixed for around $135 Canadian. They just pick a piece of material that will closely approximate the original and sew it in. The seat has to come out and the cover off to do it, though.
You couldn't tell mine was repaired. Looks original.
