Seat Belts

My driver seat belt mechanism is knackered so I'm going to sort it out soon.

From what I understand there is the retractor assembly and the buckle assembly. The actual seat belt is in 2 parts joined with the buckle.

On mine the retractor assembly doesn't work, so I'm just going to replace this. Does the retractor assembly come with part of the seat belt too, or do I have to use the old seat belt

Has anybody done this ? How easy is it to sort out ?

Thanks

Geoff

The retractor and belt is one piece, the buckle is a separate piece. The shoulder guide is a separate piece on earlier cars (88 down anyway), and part of the retractor/belt assembly on the later thirdgens.
