I have heard that they have a fiber glass headboard for t - top camaros
i was wonderin if anyone has sanded it down and painted it or had it painted to match the body of the car ???????? is this possiable and will it look right
if so any ideas on what to use for the head board to do this?

 

Yes it is possible to sand the headliner board down and paint it. I have never seen it done, but I am sure it would look cool. As far as painting it the same color as the car....hmmmmmmm....Have you been reading my "to do" mod list? J/K I myself am planning on covering my ABS or fiberglass board with white pleather, white exterior as the same as my 91 bird. I took out the old board and noticed that underneath the board was the white body, I got to thinking, wonder what it would look like with a white headliner? It looks almost like it has one from a distance and it actually looks good.

 

yeah i was wondering. Cause my camaro is being painted Navy Blue Metallic and i think it would look really sharp with the head board painted the same is the exterior and maybe take some fiberglass filler and smooth out the sides????? looks like i got a project to do lol
