Door Window Adjustments

Anyone have idea's on how to accurately adjust the driver & passenger door windows on Z28 Camaro or "F" body car so they will seal properly? I have T-Tops and with the spring in the windows, its hard to get the track and adjustments done correctly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Steve (Hobbs85)

I assume you have the door panels already off, its a matter of tweeking them until there perfect.

One thing I notice is if I roll down my windows while traveling 70, when I go to roll them back up they do not seal right because of the air pressure sucking out the windows. If I roll them up while going slow or stoped they stay in place.

there are stops & all sorts of adjustments, it will tkae a few hours of playing to get them perfect if your as much of a perfectionist as I am.

There is a tech article for this on this web site. The reality is that the Haynes Manual describes this better than anywhere I have seen - even the Chilton's manual, which I also have. If you want me to, I can scan the pages in and e-mail them to you. I just may not get to it until tomorrow. Let me know.

Thanks for the replys! If you can e-mail me a http site for the info on adjusting windows, great, if you wouldn't mind scanning the pages, great! I had a friend here tell me he has removed the seats, and adjusted them from the inside with the window up to help tweak them in, and yes it took a while.
A friend of mine that owns a body shop has helped me twice, and were getting closer! Steve (Hobbs85)
