k, today i got myself another 88 camaro same as mine except that the spoiler is kinda diffrent , anyways , i got it for 300 cdn , which is about 150 US , the car and engine is in a pretty good condition ,except that he got hit in the rear and his frame is warped, now i know that car is never going to drive the same , but im hopiong to use it for parts , the interior parts are allright , but now my question is, will the doors, gfx, MAF sensor , front bumper , and quarters will fit my car , ive heard there were two body styles for SC in 88 , and i think they are diffrent once, does anyone know anything about them ?

 

Only possible difference on any '88 Camaro sport coupe would be the rear wing / spoiler. Early sport coupes got the 3 piece spoiler, the rest got a low rise wing. Everything else is the same body wise, doesn't matter if it is a 2.8 or a 5.0.

 

k, rhnx , another question though, that should be in tech , but anyways , the new one has power windows and tilt steering i want to transfer to my old one , now im going to transfer the doors anyways, so how will i go about transfering the wires , and how do i transfer the tilt sterring wheel,

 

all you have to do is swap the steering column and as fire as the wires not tottally sure they could just plug in, in which case unplug em

 

Isn't there a circuit breaker in the fuse panel for the power windows? I think somewhere on this site we have 1986 wiring diagrams. I can't see 88 being any different. Check the diagram for the power windows, that should give you an idea of what to swap over.

 

k, thnx , another question for u though , can the front body be lifted off the chasis on out f-bodies, i want to swap the fenders and front end from one car to the other , is there a way to do that , or do i have to take it apart pice by pice
