I found a 91 RS 350 5sp the body is in realy good shape but the top end of the motor needs to be rebuilt i can do that but also the interier needs to be restored i wanted to know how much work it will be and how much will it cost i think it needs all seat covers and carpet maybe head liner any thing will help thanks

 

well, im in the process of restoring my rs too. You can go with leather out of a 4th gen for around 600 for the front a back. Ive got a link that if I can find Ill post it for ya. Headliner around 100 new, and carpet about 250 depending on what kind you want. If you wanted it done all new youd probably be out around 8 or 900 including the seats if you do the work yourself. Is the dash and console good? As for the motor, might as well redo the whole 350. That shoudnt cost all that much. Well there ya go im gonna see if I can find that link for ya.From :

well they never put a 5spd behind a 350 in any third gen car so i would inspect to see if its been swaped or its really a 305. good luck man and also the 5 spd tranny ain't gonna last to long behind a 350 they are only rated at liek 310lb of torque. later

 

I would get a 6 speed out of a fourth gen and drop a LT 1 in… It would be a nice mod..

 

Will the 4th gen covers fit the seats that are in a 3rd i realy like the look but thats alot of money i wish i could find some on ebay cheap im not sure what color i want to go with im thinkin black or grey what do you think heres a pic if it works its $1400 do you think im gettin a good deal
